this kite uses my idea of straight delta less-segmented kite, called "Spider".
This one is 4.5m proto which I've actually made in late 2007 for my 10 years boy to be able to kite in higher winds.
The design prooves to be great in relaunch (actually better than a sigma shape), extreme depower (huge depower in short arm throw). Due to different orientated panneling has better canopy shape when depowered. But that's it. No other advantages over other designs for me... and my latest designs are better than this one...
Maybe to mention, I have a design called "Birdy" laying somewhere , it is actually a mix of rounded sigma LE and delta shape..
Naish International requested to have the picture taken off. They will release all info and better pictures once they completed all info about the Charger.
Please accept their apologies.
well the Sigma shape is still in use so I don't get your point.
my point is - the evolution of sigma shape seems to be moving over to other designs...
As I see it, they have added a model based on the Delta outline to co-exist with the Sigma models Cult and Helix (who will look more C than last generation) and the C-shaped Torch. I would be surprised if they sat down and said "well, we found the final design last year so we won't bother making something new". But maybe you know something that I don't...
The Naish Charger photo is already out on the web and no secret anymore.
Kite Forum doesn't censor the rude and crude posts,
so why would you want to remove a legitimate public photo?
But what I really want to know,
Who is the intended rider for the Charger?
And has anybody flown it yet?
