Not yet but planning to I should be fine in that but would be good and powered at for myself at 150lbs...Next test.... Been in that on the SP2 12 and was fine but this should be much better...

But I've been on the SP2 12m many times in that...

Flysufer Speed 3 12m Deluxe Edition
Excellent input already, but I haveth but one question.

Have you flown the 12m S3 Serial in 15-30mph yet?

Wondering if, with higher winds (not light winds), the Deluxe fab is overkill.

Thanks PeanutButterKiteboardingDude,
David :)

for what it's worth Fred, I think your posts are very informative and helpful.

AND, unlike some other people who have posted recently, always polite and respectful.

I think his sarcasm was lost in translation. Maybe some  would have helped to clarify the intention of his first statement.

@PBK
It's really cool to watch you whip the 12m around like that. You may have mentioned this before, but how do you feel that the 12m S3 compares to the 12m P4? I'm sure the DeLux fabric makes a small difference, but I'm mostly concerned with behavior and function. The P4 still turns faster and is more wake/freestyle oriented, right? Even in its smallest size, does the S3 still hold the lead in upwind ability? Thanks! :)

Hey guys.

I am new here and this is my first post.

I started kiting this last winter and I am currently flying a Pulse 2 12m but I want to purchase a good low wind kite sometime in the new year. I have been viewing and reading tons about the Speed 3 and due to my old school style of snowboarding the Speed 3 seems to be a great fit for me.

I am wondering what is a good size for me? Would a 15m Deluxe still be too small for me at 7knots or would a 19m Deluxe be the way to go? I ultimately want something that can take me from as low as I can go in regards to wind speed to around 15 knots safely.

Thanks,

Joel

Hey guys... pop me an e-mail if you need more info on getting one of these babies...
Either way get a good an knowledgeable FS Dealer who has ridden all the kites and gives good Support... Knowledge, back up... Mixer info when you need, Technical Details, Tps Hints... and Repair Back-up Services can be icing on the cake... OK OK yes I do that... Customers deserve it... Flysurfer believes in customer support for what you get. I know, right from the Designers at the Innovation days in Italy... Detailed info...

I figure if I can have this much fun (In our regular not so good conditions) many more (as we're seeing) can too... Also I'll be trying some interesting tweaks out of interest and curiosity. Kite are too much fun...

Also to help discuss (Feedback) where you ride, conditions, your weight riding ability (Personal Preferences) and so on.

The Flysurfer kites are worth every penny, but do your best to get the ONE that will work best for you...
That can help to get the satisfaction out of the right kite and help you to become more successful.... MORE FUN....! :)

Also there will be some other guys that will give some of their reviews.

Paul

PS winter is only coming up... so see the SP2 19m and SP2 12 Snowkiting Snowboard here....
FS works great in the Winter too...

How much do you weigh?

When you say you want to go as low as 7kts is that for water or snow?

What board are you panning to use with the Speed 3?

T give me a better idea what do you think your low end with the Pulse is?
