I have an 09 Lunacy and looking for the most cushioned pads for hard landings.
Liquid Force pads or Mystic d30, how are they and do they fit well?

Too funny...just this week I took the Slingy pads off my Lunacy and put on the LF Comps! I love the adjustment of the SS pads (the way the straps completely separate) which makes mounting easier, but that Lunacy lands hard and I think I was actually bruising my heel after long sessions. I have not tried the Mystics but have had a couple pairs of the LF and they are soft and hold your foot in place well. I also found, when mounting the LF bindings, that I had more angle options than I did with the stock bindings. I was able to duck out the stance more.

I'd say forget both of them. keep your awesome slingshot straps and buy these pads.
there is a bunch of kiteboard companies have been relabeling them but Ocean Rodeo seems to be the easiest one to obtain in the USA without buying a board.
Ocean Rodeo Bliss pads.

I've used both sets this year. I currently have the Mystic d30 pads with my LF comp strap + recoil. I find the d30 pads slightly more comfortable and they absorb heavy impacts better. Another pad I have been really happy with is the Nobile IFS pad on my XTR. That is super comfortable with loads of shock absorbtion. The IFS straps are probably the most comfortable strap I've ever used, however I find them hard to tension tightly (I'm not a bigfoot) and they don't seem to hold my feet in as well as some other straps.

yeah, boots have the best cushion. I have Ronix wake with Ronix boots
for the park.
Waiting for Dre's board to come out, too bad it's going to be too expensive. I'm going with SS wake next. C u on scoop talk. This is a pad thread
Thanks for the tips...I'll try 3dos.

Bindings rock but I don't use them on my lunacy. I have a diff board for bindings, I don't think the lunacy is meant for them especially in the 129. I have LF lux on them now but they are a little slippery and a foot comes out every not and then (could be because I don't ride straps much). But I would say go with the Mystics that toe grip makes a hug difference.
