I'm 5'10 between 165-170 lbs the wind was about 14-16 knots, super choppy, was riding the 09 Thruster 16m the board is very beautiful first of it handles chop like, whoa! I have a metal plate in my ankle so comfort is vital for a good long session, even though it was choppy, between the flex on the board and nice soft padding my ankle never felt it, i was riding for about hour and a half. Now! i'm use to riding 115 and 110 boards been so for for over 4 years so riding a 128 took some getting use to, craps! allot! of getting use to i should say, will need allot more session to make the adjustments but so far the one thing i love the most is how forgiving the board is when you're landing those sloppy jumps, with those smaller boards landing have to be perfect, extra perfect on choppy water. The fins have to go! they are 4.0 which makes turning the board harder than it should be (at least for me) with the edge of the board being so thin don't know why they put on such big fins, I'm installing 1.5 for the next session to see what difference it makes. Pop is, shhweet! combo with the Thruster, aka, da! Rocket! boosting at will isn't a problem. I hate how on the ends of both side of the board it very thin i mean if you hit a rock the board will shit itself thing, i mean if your fin hits a rock it will rip off the board leaving a big ass hole thin. Overall i'm happy with it just have to be careful where i ride and i'm positive the more i get adjusted to the size i will like it even more. Good job Eclipse
I can't wait to kill it in the waves and 20 plus knots.

Got this board also 2 months ago, very nice board to boost with, great pop as well. im not too crazy about the inserts, should have 2 for more support.
Overall its a very nice board, a step up from the Skywalker I broke 3 times last year.

I rode for the first time in similar conditions and quickly switched to my Hammer- it just does just about everything better in those choppy conditions. The Hammer that is.
But I didn't get the Pro for that. Now waiting for wind and a good flat water day where I expect the Pro will shine (and replace the Airush ProToy).
Waves with the Pro? I wouldn't think so unless/maybe super clean but we usually have to endure some nasty chop to enjoy the cleaner waves outside. We don't seem to get one without the other.

my board came with red fins which seem allot smaller then the ones you have in your picture. Maybe call eclipse and see if they will trade you out for smaller fins. Bigger fins would be nice to have in the ocean though so maybe keep em, just thought I would let you know...

dude!! no disrespect, but look at my board carefully how did you come up with the idea that i have it on the wrong way? the letter E, the word ECLIPSE and the words Dimitri Pro 128 are right side up, so you're telling me all of them should be up side down then? so that means the stock item pic taked of Eclipse website is on wrong to then?

Windmaker is right, though he ment the left footstrap should go to the right and the right to the left

I don't think there is a right or wrong way to mount assymetric footstraps. I know most manufacturers show the wide part of the strap on the inside of the foot but personally I actually found it to be far more comfortable when the wide part of the strap is on the outside of the foot.
It is just personal choice.

You or windmaker explain why you think it's wrong?
