Jeremy Lund will have 2010 North Rebel, Fuse, Vegas for demo this Friday and Saturday at Jupiter Kitebeach (shower #10 A1A). Forecast is 15-20 kts, NE-E (side-on to on-shore), 7-8 ft waves. Should be fun to try out these new kites.

Wow!! The north line up proved to be a solid one, with kites and boards that could be paired to match any rider. My favorite was the rebel it was very snappy and easy to load up the bar. Some complained that it hesitated a little in the turn but I only noticed hesitation when under powered which is normal for most kites. I found the (Fuze) to be a very powerful kite that had a huge range. It had very nice pull into the wave and offered super floaty jumps. I would say it is the perfect kite for the average rider while the rebel is for those who like a little more performance and the safety of the fifth line. I loved the vegas I would say that it maintains its normal excellence with a little more grunt then last years model. I was not able to try the evo.
I would highly recommend the jaime for tricks and quick maneuvers. I would recommend the x ride for the average rider with it's plush feel, soft landings and top wave performance "for a twin tip".
the new carbon fiber (select) was like wearing a feather I could not feel it under my feet other then that I would say it rides similar to the jaime with a little different timing on the pop.
