I put together another video but this time I used the kitehero mount on a five line system, which has a Y bridle with shorter front lines. because the front lines are half the length from the rider to the kite itself, this gives a totally new perspective that still works well with the wide angle camera. here's the video of the action from today in seattle. we had light conditions but in the sun!
If you want to have a variety of point of view footage, you'll want to shoot from your board, helmet, and kite. check out my website for more images and videos that I have created using the GoPro cameras to give you an idea of the versatility of this camera.

Here's a shot of the mount on the kite.

hey neptune. I would recommend getting the helmet kit/camera. And then working from there. I dont have one yet but the cool thing about the gopro is the many many options for mounting locations. Helmet, board, lines, kite etc etc.

The people who make kitehero parts should make the gopro hinge with the screw for all the cameras that way we could use all the
www.gopro.com,
www.kitehero.com accessories for all cameras. Wouldn't that be cool, eh?

Look at the hinge at the bottom of the clear gopro housing. If you make that hinge with the screw you know the kind of tripod screw that all cameras have hole at the bottom to screw into. That way you can have the hinge attached to any camera and use all
www.gopro.com and
www.kitehero.com accessories for any camera.

The GoPro Head Strap Mount, $14.00:
http://www.kitesurferstore.com/accessories works on the center strut of the kite, with few small adjustments!
