Hasn't been that great here in Cumbuco for the last week so was wondering if it was worth the trip further north to Icarai de Amontada or even Jeri to get a few more knots.
The forecast isn't that great for Cumbuco for the next few days either.
Has it been windy up further north the last week or so?
Thanks

if there is wind, it should be stronger up there.
But I know of an area, which supposedly has a wind channel and gets more wind...an hour from Cumbuco.
I will wait for a day with lighter wind (maybe Thursday), and then see if it is true.

Enough wind around Jeri/Prea.
Only difference with the beginning of the month is that big kites are needed know. Big as in 11 m2 instead of 7 m2...

If the wind doesn't get better I'm fucked...

if light, then the whole coast is light.
Looks better from next week on (Tuesday).
But if you surf...the coast gets an awesome swell these days...massive for this area!

Wow no wind at all, bummer.Came back to the UK last Wednesday after 13 days all along the coast line from Fortaleza too Jeri out every day 9 of them maxed out on either my 7 or 9.Just how reliable is the wind? were we just lucky? Would anybody like to post when there experiance of Brazil good or bad (don't forget to mention what time of year you were there) It would be great to get an accurate picture as possible of the area.

Starting in August you are guarenteed wind every day, of course if you listen to Toby its always good, but reality is there is a "rainy" season and too many clouds kills the wind.
Here it comes... the HYPE monster......
