Hell yeah! Just not that well. It's very impressive to me how well you're bottom-turning that board. That seems to be where I have the most problems riding my skim.

Great vid!

:o wow! :o i didn't know the Hat came off   , this vid is a double edged sword, on one hand it's sick to see you blazin on the waves, but the other hand it shows that Pros are so good that you guys can ride any gear and make it look good,so it's really not the gear,it's your ability.I bit if i get a door cut it into a sharp of a surfboard you would John blaze that shit too. :remybussi:

Nice vid Top. Can you post a picture of the board. It is kind of hard to see in the vid.

I have been into making my own skim boards out of wood for about a year now, which I ride strapless with a kite. A lot of guys on the beach have started to ask me to make them boards as well and I am always looking for new shapes to try.

Tried riding a more traditional alaia board last year, it went upwind well,
but also went underwater well -too much length to recover from pearl.
This shape looks great, was thinking of making another, shorter one -inspirational!
