So just saw some one pimping a android windfinder app on another thread so thought I would start a favorite wind & water sport app thread for the uber-geeks among us. Lets put all the different os apps here (iphone, android etc) so we can see what others have.
Here is the windfinder app
http://www.windfinder.com/tools/android/index.htm
another nice one that I just saw is
http://www.androidzoom.com/android_appl ... _hvbr.html
cause sometimes it is nice to sprinkle a little data on those pretty model results.
and for the racers a vmg app! (beyond uber-geek..only those who understand "downwind faster than the wind" can download):

of course lots of tide, web cam, surf forecast, generic weather /radar apps but people can find those easily themselves. the above are a bit more obscure and kinda fun.

This is my favorite so far, hoping for an update soon though to extend the forecast range...

Are there any apps for the Blackberry? It sucks compared to the Droid, but work is paying for it.

Do they have you on the BB Storm 2? Way underrated phone that is comparable to the droid and is a great phone, even better in some ways. Agree that more apps are the only holdup for BB.

I use weatherbug for my Blackberry. I like it because they give you real time wind conditions for your location. They use alot of private wind stations and for me in Sask. Canada I am able to get real wind conditions for some of the more remote places. Weatherbug.com is where its at. Hope this helps
