Anyone know if your not hitting slider and such, do you like to wear yout normal fins with boots?
i have a 132 x 39 board and it feels a bit slippery but awesome toe side and trans, but ladning jumps is a bit more difficult.

I only take my fins off for hitting sliders and kickers. I really wish I could get hold of some 1cm ish fins just so I could just use them on sliders, I don't see any real need for big fins, but fins do help with landings for me. Just ride however feels comfortable to you.

ive got 25mm fins on my influence and they work great. board is reasonably skatey but u can land powered with no problem. can slide it around in transitions then you feel it lock in nicely once ur going. still take them off for sliders

I tried a slider last weekend and nearly ate sh*t due to fins of 1.75" (and lack of skill).

fucking kook bet you were in straps too
anyways - small fins give a good bite, nice tracking and improve landings. i'm mean like 1" or less, i ride 0.8" fins.
take 'em off for sliders, but if your focus is air tricks fins make a difference.

I spent the last couple months riding exclusively finless. I like the feel and don't find landings to be an issue with stiff boots. However, I find you lose bite when it's choppy, so i've switched back to 0.75" fins (formerly 1.75" until they met the jigsaw and sander).
