Let's compare mathematically.... seeing as how Cabrinha costs twice what I normally pay for a new kite, it must pop twice as good to be of equivalent value......
Aint' happening.
Bigger bucks without anything outstanding to show for it. Not a good value formula. Good kites to be sure, but not any better than most other kites. IMHO.

Yay! Does this mean we can start the Cabrinha-dissing?
I've been kiting for 11 years, flown many many different kites and never really liked Cabrina. Too much bells and whistles and extra hoses and straps and crap getting in the way and over-engineering that doesn't necessarily work, don't like the bar feeling, and not user-friendly for adapting and converting and adjusting the bar system . That's just my opinion though, I'm prepared to be attacked on all sides by the Cabrinhites now. Ouch! I'm going to get it, guys don't take it too seriously!
Actually on pretty much any kite you get used to, you will get good on it, like it , and it's possible that no other kite will feel as good. Then you'll get a different kite and get used to that one, learn to love it, and so on...

If you mean compares to Cabrinha in the sense of an over-priced below average performing kite from a brand that depends on clueless beginners to buy their junk, I'd say no. Cabrinha pretty much is alone in that category.

I'm just surprised that nothing can even come close to a Cabrinha, I suppose that's why all the top pros ride their C kite.....
Matto, I'm looking forward to our afternoon Tiger and pizza sessions again soon.

James it's those beer and pizza sessions that have me switching to a size L harness from an M and going out on one size bigger kite than I used to.
Looking forward to seeing you again here! And good news, you'll be able to sleep in peace and quiet at your favourite hotel again by the way

Okay, let's debunk one more myth about Cabrinha. The kites cost no more to produce then any other kites on the market and less then a lot of kites. Cabrinha markets the illusion of 'quality' by publishing a high price for their kites. The the dealers get give out deep discounts to the non-clueless beginners and make these idiots feel like they got some super deal.
It's a good marketing strategy, simply because your average consumer is an idiot and it preys on the clueless beginner that will pay more for no reason.
Below average kites + higher then average prices = Cabrinha

I will admit though that only cool people own Cabrinha kites.
