any test about zeeko board's bhoot 2010

Postby maigueri » Thu Sep 02, 2010 4:54 pm

Hi

I´m gonna buy a board and i was considering seriously about getting the new bhoot 2010 of zeeko.

Could any give some information about this board? I have`nt found any test of it. Several opinions about zeeko kites but really few about their boads.

Another point is that zeeko now is selling the new 2011 kites, ¿do you know if they are going to offer any new board for 2011? If so i´would be outdated really soon. :angryfire:

My otherchoices were Airush Protoy 2010 135x41 or nobile 666 ¿any advice?

thanks a lot :D

Hi,

which size are you looking for?
The boards was just released a few months ago and it is the first 2011 product we introduced.
Then this is a 2011 board, you can go without any doubt on the model of the year.

Ride easy,

Nicolas

For this year, the BHOOT, versatile board of ZEEKO KITES, declines in a complete range of 3 sizes.
Adapted to all styles of navigation, each of 3 models of the BHOOT was specifically developed according to its size and to its program.
Thanks to a unique shape and a high-performance equipment, the BHOOT allows to progress as well in freestyle, light wind, or wave-riding.

SHAPE
The BHOOT got an asymmetric outline : the frontside edge is more rounded than the backside edge.
This configuration allows a better feeling frontside for wave-riding and backside for freestyle.

The board scoop is stretched out between feet to facilitate the start (with board in flat position), and more bended on the extremities for a maximum comfort.

The top deck is purified. Brilliant finish.
On the bottom deck, there is a concave in the middle allowing a better start.
The bottom deck is flat on the extremities : easy landings, riding is more comfortable.
There is new cover on the bottom deck for a best glide of the board.

The SX 131 x 39 cms is the 100% wakestyle / freestyle board of Bhoot range.
Weight without access : 1,9 kg

The CL 135 x 40 cms is the versatile board of the range : freestyle / freeride.
Weight without access : 2,2 kg

The XL 140 x 45 cms is the special freeride / light wind board of the range.
Weight without access : 2,5 kg

thanks to both

I was looking for the 1,35 x 40. It´s look really good but it´s a pitty not to have any test about it.

¿do you have available that size?

Thanks for your time

I have tested the new 2010 Bhoot CL 135/40cm By Zeeko: is the new freeride, all-terrain board with more forgiving flex and a lighter weight. With the centred concave, is more forgiving through chop than all the boards I've ridden, no spray at all.
The booth has plenty of pop, moves from edge to edge smoothly and the rounded rails ensure seamless transitions from toe to heel.
Delivers good upwind performance and the different sizes quality fins, hold a solid edge. The bigger fin works perfectly on the bottom turns during wave riding Overall, the new Bhoot By Zeeko super light-weight construction, gives it an easy throw-around feel, and it has a forgiving character with enough performance to satisfy the advanced freestyle rider and avid freerider.

thanks again kitesurferRO:

I´d really like you answer me a question sincerely (you can send me a mp if you preffer)

I broke a leg (kitesurfing) and now it´s like a new start, but the most important for me is the health of my leg. I´ve read that all terrain boards are not too much flex. And i would preffer a board where my ancle not suffer. ¿will the bhoot really apropiatte for me?

thaks for your help

maigueri,
I hate to tell you that until your ankle doesn't heal properly, depending on your type of injury, none of the boards out there, will be a good fit for you.
I had a motorcycle accident that screw my ankle years ago and I am still prudent with it.

WOW that´s really sincere!!!

Thanks for your point, my accident was like yours two years ago. And my ankle is ok, but as you must know it ll never be like before.

I´m sorry about your ankle, but maybe anyone like you to give a reasonable answer to my question. I guess that you keep kiteboarding ¿are you using the bhoot? if so...¿is it enough flex not to suffer your lesion?

Thanks in advance and take care with that ankle! :thumb:
