quiver advice

Postby kidsan » Sat Sep 18, 2010 1:43 pm

to compliment my 12m banditdos i am currently looking for a new, smaller kite.

I am in tarifa for a month and thought this would be as good a place as any to find something.

I have been offered a couple of deals on ex'rental kites and was looking for any advice on these offers

an RRD passion 7m 2011 for 500E...only used for 2 or 3 months
another 7m passion, 2 repairs in the sail for 250E...i havent actually seen the repairs yet but am assured that they have been professionally done and i will test all the kites before buying.

an 8m airush dna 2010 for 390E

Now just waiting for some good wind to test them out...

ps should also add that have also been offered, by a friend, a 2007 7m best waroo.

Now, i know that is a bit old but i know it has been hardly used and just wondered what people thought of this as an option...and maybe what you think it might be worth?

Hi.
My thoughts...

I would buy the JN (good italian-german-austrian brand) i have friends that kick ass with the 10, allways.
The passion seems to be a really nice kite (somebody told me that it's the same as JN...)

In Tarifa, you should not pay to much for a kite... a kite with 2 months of age could have 60 days on the water...go figure.
Have fun and good luck!
