Flysurfer Viron crash test video

Postby Mathias » Tue Nov 16, 2010 1:01 pm

A couple of days ago the crew of Boardway was brave enough to face the hurricane and test the new Flysurfer Viron kite. Kitelife could not stay away from that happening so we went with them. The aim was to test the durability of the kite and how long the cells and chambers of the kite would last. To make it even more difficult the deflate value of the kite was stiched up. Thus the value could not pop open and air could deflate. After heaps and heaps of crashes the kite was still alive. No damage whatsoever!! We think that is stunning and the kite gets the OKAY!!

Here's the video!

What precisely makes you say that?

The Flysurfer and Core bar are the best on the market IMO.
The QR and mini fifth line work perfectly, the line untwist system is the best out there period. Quality of components and lines is top notch, everything easy to maintain. I've put over 200 hours on the CORE bar and no problems with any of it.

(just curious which bar you think is best?)

The kite looks super stable
relaunches from the water no problem
I cannot comment on how it actually flys as a kitesurfing kite but I doubt Flysurfer is going backward with performance at this stage.
