Would it make some difference if it would have been the Zephyr 2011( better lightwind???)

I totally agree that the late ozone 2010 bar with the smooth white depower rope with the the red beads in it and the black strap leader line adjusters was a way better and extremely good system compared to the new cheaper contact version where you struggle to get hold of the single depower bead they now supply with the zephyr and rest of the range.

I have not flown it but from what I heard about testing, it should be a beast. I am coming off a zephyr and already have my order in for a dyno! I live in light wind central so big kites are what keep us kiting!

As soon as I get it I will post.

I agree on most of it, what you said about the Zephyr, but I still cannot believe why they screwed up that nice depower system they had on their 2010 kites, it was working pretty smooth and easy, the system they have installed is so cheap, and not as smooth, just grabbing the bead is already a pisser, not to mention that the line twists around your depowerline, and the force you have to use..to hold it while pulling, OZONE WE ARE USED TO BETTER FROM YOU!!

The 2010 depower system was so much nicer, they really screwed up on that, and even forgot to mention the price raise somewhere inbetween 10 to 15%, so if they raise the price that much and even replacing the best depower system there was, for some cheap depower ( ok but working) system , they are not making the Ozone adepts happy with that!!!
I do hope they read it!!
Yes I have my 2011 stuff from Zeph to C4 ....but again Ozone dissapointed with the above mentioned.

Our Prices are the
same as last year.

Do you mean you have
trouble pulling the trim? Reaching?

Pulling is one, you have to get hold of the bead, or it is swinging around, and once you have it, you need more power to pull it and you have to squeeze the bead much harder, it is not going as smooth as the 2010 .

Well here in Europe prices have gone up inbetween 10 to 15%

We're very stoked on our new light wind specific offering, the 2011 Rise 15m LW. This kite is essentially a Rise/Razor hybrid and early indications and tester feedback indicate that it will be very popular. Remember, if you buy any current Ocean Rodeo product you have 30 days to return it if not completely satisified - we offer a 100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee on all of our products.
