Holy crap...it sure makes many things we have to deal with seem insignificant. Please keep us updated. I'll be donating soon to the relief efforts. Best of luck to all of you.

Thanks guys!
We are about 300 miles away so fine for now.
Never thought I would be using windfinder to determine where the radiation will blow.

That water looks nasty! There is a sewage treatment plant just to the west and then also that water runoff canal. I'm certain that there was some poo mixed in with that brown water! I would have been wearing thigh high boots to walk around there. Something tells me that when the wind picks up, that launch will be just fine...

Here are some before and after shots of Kite Beach Maui Tsunami Cleanup. The local Kite Beach Crew came out and moved rocks and debris off the beach all day yesterday, the beach looks even better than before the tsunami.
We were so lucky that this is all the damage that we had to deal with , all our thought and prayers to Japan

Thank you for your kind words.
My family is back in the states now so I have no worries other than for the victims of the tsunami who are in my prayers.

"tsunami" is part of the "post subject" so it's fair game.

You heard toby... this is about kitebeach... if anyone even thinks about mentioning Japan in here... so help me...

It's a beach. Yes ground zero for kiting, but it's a beach. Part of the nature of beaches is getting pounded by waves, wind & rain.
