Can't get on with my 2011 Misfit, so looking at other options, I like the sound of the Laluz, any feedback would be great, good points and bad please for both to help me decide

I just came back from a very long trip, all over south east asia(especially boracay), western australia.
and saw a lot of xenon boards.. and it's a relative new company...
I assume that you can tell it's good by the growing number out there !

I've heard lots of good reports about the Laluz, and the fact lots of people are getting them are a sure good sign, the Misfit is also a good board, but I need to know if anyone can compare them?

Hi,
i have the La-luz 132 and i love it.
i can't help you comparing the boards cause i dont know the misfit.
unlike kites, it is quite instantanious to get the feel of a board, so if possible, just give it a try.
what are you looking for in a board?

Well I know the Laluz is lite so that's good, early on the plane, good up wind, riding through chop without breaking my knees, must have a good strap/pad set-up

I ride a LaLuz 135 and am in love with it. The board is super user friendly, but at the same time has heaps of top end performance.
Pop is excellent, it charges up wind and the landings are out of this world! Oh, and it never sprays water in my face!
Compared with the Misfit, the LaLuz is way less technical to ride as it has a bit more flex and a a bit more rocker which just give the board a way better feel without sacrificing performance. The Misfit is just too stiff and flat for my liking.
I would go for the LaLuz without a doubt.

Thanks good write up, perhaps that's why I'm having probs with the misfit, too technical I guess. I want something like plug n play, the Laluz sounds like it could be the one, my knees are shot to pieces after months of the misfit, mind you at 52 years old I should be putting my feet up by the fire, I wish this sport was around 30 years ago...
