Great! Please let us know how it goes. I am looking at the 6m for waves.

I wonder what would happen if you put helium into the airush one? Since it is so much lighter, but has a large diameter tube...maybe there is enough helium to overcome the weight? Who wants to try this?

Well I had my second session out on my new 9m one and really enjoyed it. I think the best way to describe this kite is that it's very well behaved. As others have said before it feels really light in the sky, by that I mean, when you are cruising along with the kite parked you don't get that tendency or the kite to want to drop or fall. With my past few kites I've had to hold the kite up, as it were, with a little bit of back hand pressure. When you put the kite in a spot you can be sure that it will stay there until you tell it otherwise. It inspires confidence.

It will turn very quick if you pull hard on the bar but using normal movement of the bar I realy like it's turning speed. Not too fast that you have to concentrate what you are doing with the kite, but not too slow that you can actually maneuver the kite around and put it where you want it.

It relaunched like a every delta kite, very fast, and i feel comfortable self launching and landing the kite even in winds between 20-25 kts. Didn't feel confident with my last kite that's for sure.

I have never been too keen on delta kites before. I've tried the north evo, bandit 1,2 and 3 plus revolt and also the core gt, and I found then very on/off with their power delivery and found them a little difficult to predict when it was going to yank my arms off with power or drop me in the water with none. I was afraid that One would be like this too, However I am totally surprised. It's very progressive and Its power is very predictable. I havent however had a chance to fly a wainman kite but I was told that it is pretty good in that Dept as well.

It jumps like any sle kite out there and is easy to do. I love that large leading edge 'cause it seems to allow the kite to drift back in the wind window without you having to sheet in. I think that's why the power is so predictable, when you go through a lul the kite will drift back into the window holding power, then when the wind picks up it flys forward easing the power slightly so you don't get that feeing of being overpowered.

I haven't tried the safety release one the kite yet, that's next session. Also I'm not at the unhooked stage yet so I can't comment on that. Also I don't ride waves yet either, so can't comment on that style of kiting, however over all its such an obedient well behaved kite that it inspires confidence in me to try new things knowing that the kite is not going to punish me. I'm very happy with my new little kite! I think I will be saving up for the 12m too to add to my quiver. I'm typing this on my iPhone and getting tired of it, so that's it for now. If you have a specific question about the kite let me know and I can give it a go and let you know what I think.

Please if someone already have a Airush One 6 M can you write a review of the low end
and overall performance?

The wind range says that the 6M is good for 16 - 32+ Knots
Estimate on 75kg Rider with a medium sized Twintip

I'm not considering the One 9M because I have a 10M & a 14M lithium,
I can ride the 10M with a 136 cm x 41cm twin tip in 12 to 13 knots.
My weight is 72 kg = 158 lbs

Since I already have two Airush smart bars I'm thinking on buy a One 6M to use with a North nugget board in 15 to 20 knots.
I'm also thinking to use it to teach my 12 year old son (32 kg = 70 lbs) to fly kites.

I really appreciate your comments.

I have a 12mtr ONE ... This kite rocks! I think this is a kite the industry has needed.

this kite is easy to rig and sets up fast, super stable kite, fast responsive steering, unhooks very well, it is efficient with really good range.. high and low end power is outstanding.... it is so light in the air its apparent wind is crazy but also de-powers so well. relaunches very well and I teach with this kite and students have been able to relaunch and fly in some really light winds that would not have been able to with any other kite.

I have rode it in several different conditions and with several different boards and it is an amazing all around kite! I would like to try some smaller sizes, sounds like they are great from what I am reading here.
the ONE is a great kite for schools and beginners also as it is a very simple, self sufficient, user friendly kite.

They are very light - drift really well.
From my more limited experience, every time i get carried away with riding the wave, it's always there waiting... Has an uncanny knack of being in the right place at the right time no matter how out of shape you get :-)
Also jumps pretty well.. and has huge levels of depower.

It's fairly good upwind - the kite has such a huge sheeting range that you can tailor the power exactly, so in that it's very efficient. The kite is also light it tends to sit at the very front of it's window and while not the most efficient it does accelerate there in an instant, but it's not a flat foiled race kite. If you have width in your board or fins it's pretty good.. I never had any complaints about it's upwind ability in the real world, but I don't think you'll win any course races on it..

Bar pressure is moderate. It's not super light, but not heavy. It's quite a positive feel in the turn; there is resistance on the bar end when you pull. It's not light like a varial X is, but that resistance is mostly only in the turn, not in a straight line. Makes for a direct and positive feel - and I have never had any overpressure issues in longer sessions..

When forced it will (as my gran described when she stood on the cat) turn inside it's own skin.. lol

Anyone have a One 6 M?

The wind range says that the 6M is good for 16 - 32+ Knots

As I mention before I already have two Airush smart bars, I'm thinking on buy a One 6M to use with a North nugget board in 15 to 20 knots. My weight is 72 kg = 158 lbs

50% of the decition to buy the 6M is that I'm also thinking to use it to teach my 12 year old son (32 kg = 70 lbs) to fly kites. he already try 2M training kites.

I really appreciate your comments.
