Well they say the biggest difference between the 2010 and 2011 laluz is that the 2011 feels a bit more skatey.

the most obvious design change I can see is the rail went from squared to rounded.

might be a correlation there :)

bottom line is both the 2010 and 2011 boards were flippin' amazing to ride. So regardless of the rail design there is some other unicorn blood in there somewhere

I'm still on the 2010 which is going strong after 18 months of abuse, it's the first board that I will be keeping in 4 years of kiting. The 2011 felt stiffer to me without losing the comfort which is impressive, anyone else feel this? Very excited to see what they come up with for 2012. BTW if you're into kite clothing I just received a couple of T's from Xenon and they also rock!

yeah I think the 2011 may be a little stiffer too. The guys at Windzup told me the top skin is thicker for durability so that may be part of it. still feels F'ing light and landings are still amazingly soft for how well it pops.

I'm hoping I can get a Xenon hat. I saw some photos of one on facebook but don't know how to get one. Eitan, any advice on where I can get a Xenon hat? If they are flex fits I need a big one. my head is huge. haha

OK
2010 VS 2011:
2011- bit stiffer, faster, more skaty, precise. didn't loose any of it's incredible soft landings & chop eating ability :) Pop is still very strong, boards are feather light (2 years warranty- no worries), super low end relatively to their sizes.

Xenon has a stylish wear collection: T-shirts, Caps (yeah- Flexi !) & Hoodies, the website will be updated with their pics soon.

Got this new Vidra surf BTW- can not stop falling in love with Xenon, the design is in so many ways art, & performance is not left beyond... (what's better than a Hummer, nice chick & an awesome board ?...)

E very time i see something new coming out from Xenon i am so impressed, but when i saw the surfs a week ago- my heart just missed a beat... when i rode them, it got beating again !

More Soon,
E.

Sick photos Eitan!

Yeah that's the hat I'm talking about

I wonder if Xenon will ever start offering kites?

I've seen companies like spleene and nobile go from boards only to boards + kites and flysurfer went from kites only to adding flyboards. It also looks like there is some hints Switch will be adding boards to the mix at some point considering all the photos of Marc Jacobs riding a "switch board". Epic Kites is another company that is new but started with kites and now has a full lineup of boards.

It seems like there area few companies around that still specialize in just boards. Jimmy Lewis and Underground are the two that come to mind.

I think it will be interesting to see if Xenon expands their market as they grow as a company and if they do.... how they decide to go about it.

Just curious, I keep always hearing about the 135, how does the Laluz 132 behave in chops? Still good pop with smooth ride/landings?

This board (La-luz) is amazing , i was just surprised when i rode it , the pop is very good and the landings are so soft , the design is so clean - what makes the board so beautiful... The Infra looks very good i cant wait to ride it (Boots?)

Wow, so many comments on that board, and they are all so true!
i had decided to buy mine a few months ago, with some help from guys on this forum, and from the short experience i have with this board, i must agree with everything.
the board feels great, looks great and i can feel the improvement in my riding.
i land more tricks and am trying to go harder with confidence.
Go Xenon and you won't be sorry!
