lets hope they also improved the sailcloth quality and the valves..
Sailcloth had or creates very fast, tiny little holes, secondly the valves need to be clean clean clean ( no sand ..try it on a windy sandy beach...
) the kite will loose pressure after a while.
I am not happy at all with the quality this year, after flying Ozone for 4 years now, and that after a nearly 15% price raise in 2011

do you think ozone changed the spec of the Teijin Techno Force sail material from 2010 to 2011?
I thought it was suppose to be pretty good stuff.

Ozone has to cheek those valves, sometimes i have problems with it too, if you dont close it very strong, You loose presure
No complains about anything else, My Edges (7 to 17) are pure racing machines, full performance and Quality !!!

I haven't noticed any difference in the build quality of this year's kites compared to previous years.

I love the new valves, easier to inflate, easier to deflate and if you watch the how to video you will have no issues if you follow the instructions. Have used my 8m 30-40 times and no issues with slow deflation, surely it can not be just good luck!
Had no idea about holes in fabric reported in this posting so examined two of my kites looking at the fabric against the sun and could not find any holes. Will check my other two kites this weekend for tiny holes.

I totally agree with the build quality issues!
I too have literally had issues with all 3 kites. All three kites have now ripped and have 1-2cm slices in the canopy and wait for it... ive had the 7m out 3 times, the 12m out 2 times and the 9m out for 30 mins!
Its rediculous! They have made them to light and theres hardly any dacron on them!
Not a happy chap!

Take a look at your local spot how the sand is? Maybe it is full of crap and is that the reason why they have those rips?
I have used my 8m C4 +/- 15 times and I checked it last week but no problems. Also my 11m is free from rips and hole's.
2012 looks good but i'm more curious about the new bar!

Ive been kiting nearly 8 yrs now and have never ripped a kite or snapped a line...
If you put the kite next to another decent brand, Naish, Liquid Force, Slingshot, Flexifoil etc, then you will see how light the build is in comparrison.

Kites don't rip by themselves it takes something sharp to cut them. I have put holes in my kite by putting my board on it or sandbag. When it's really windy and you leave your kite out it's getting worked flapping and rubbing on the ground. That will wear on any kite. I have 75+ sessions on my ozones and no holes yet. The valves have worked great so far but you have to keep the sand out or they can leak. This happened to me once but I open the valve and blew the sand off and re-inflated. No prob! If it's a sandstorm I suggest standing while opening valve and attaching pump. In the snow these valves are a blessing! Open and close with gloves on! All kites are fragile treat them like they are made of tissue paper.
