Wow, they weren't kidding. That is a pretty Spartan looking bar. I like it.

those sizes will make it a no go for me.i think they should have gone with 5,7,9.i like the looks though.
Going from a 5 to a 7, you get a 40% increase in size (and, presumably, a 40% increase in the base power that you will have available to work with). Then, going from a 7 to a 9, you get only a 29% increase.

With the new sizes, you can make sure that you get a more balanced increase in size / power between the kites in your quiver. There is a 25% increase from the 5 to the 6.25, then a 20% increase from the 6.25 to the 7.5 and another 20% increase from the 7.5 to 9.

If you want a 3-kite quiver, consider the 5, 7.5 and 10.5. That should theoretically give you a 50% and then a 40% increase. The 14.5 on top of that would add another 38%. It sounds like you are comfortable with 40% jumps, so that might be a good option for you.

Is the length the same from the chicken loop to the bar? Does it auto rotate and lock when unhooked?

The old bar was perfect for me since I'm short. I never have to adjust my trim to unhook hope that is the same on the new bar.

Looks like its the same length Joe, have not seen it in person yet but from the pictures I have seen it appears that there is the same quick release and upper nylon webbing. Also the new bar is auto orientating, the ball that was above the nylon webbing is now fits inside the bottom of the bar.

The safety seems to be on the front line.
