I flew a 13m In utah this winter . It performed very well and I was very pleasantly surprised on how smooth it was. I really liked it .
Nice bar and good built.

I have a 16 and 13. I have not tried the smaller sizes. I can tell you that it is a solid, well-built kite. The kites turns well, boosting is excellent with plenty of hang-time. Depower is excellent. The safety system is unique and works well. It is worth checking out. I have been kiting for 11 years. I also own several Ozone Edge kites and large Flysurfer foils.

good news! I’m riding old style, I like hig jumps and hang time, I coming from another brand but I’d like to change, I’m looking for a stable and realiable kite in gusty wind, hang and possibly lift, but also a kite that does not collapse easily in light wind, I’m looking for a 11mt and 9mt, maybe 13mt.... the wind range they describe in web site... is that real?

The wind range on the Gin Zulu 3 is similar to other modern LEI kites. I personally don't trust wind charts. Some manufacturers are worried about liability and make the range very narrow. Others try to make it as wide as possible. I think Gin has take the later course.

The webpage says that the windrange for the 16 is 8 - 18 knots. I weigh 170 LBS. I would launch the kite in 10 - 15 knots. I can ride it up to 18 knots, but I would rather be on the 13 when the wind is over 15 knots. 8 knots on the low-end is a stretch, maybe on a large directional board. The 13 is good for 15 - 20 knots and once again, you could take it up to 23 knots, but an 11 or 9 would be more fun over 20 knots.

I have a 13m and 9m Zulu III and have been kiting for 11 years as well.

I'd like to echo that there's alot of safety features built into the bar (far more than what I'm used to), and the kite is built to withstand pretty much anything..."solid" is an understatement

Coming from a traditional "C" kite background...the flying performance of these kites is much more stable in the gusty winds we have here in the Midwest, and delivers some pretty good boosts when you demand them.

As far as low-range wind-speed goes, here's a vid of me testing a 13m...

I start kiting in 2010 ... so I am new to the sport ..... but I start with Gin Eskimo and keep purchasing kites from that manufacture ,..... I know only 1 other kiter in NJ that use them and he is also very happy with that choice ......
Right now I am using Gin Yeti 4,8,10.5 and 13 for snow ( if we have any this year ) buggy and ATB .... and Gin Zulu II 7 and 11 on water ..... 2 months ago I purchase Zulu III 9 and 13 that I did not have chance to try yet......
I have many people asking me about those kites on a beach ( mostly Europeans and Paraglide pilots )
There was Kite school owner from Brazil that try my 11m zulu and was very impress with stability and quality ......
Zulu III have very nice bar with awesome release system .....
..... as I have try many different kites on meet ups and events my only question is why there is only one way to connect you leash ( to you chicken loop ) ...

Here is my YT channel with few clips using Gin kites ......
