I think this is the Best "twister tech" patent. Best kiteboarding holds it. I dunno, I would assume that the more rigid the wing is the better the kite will turn unless the deformation is not horizontally, but vertically on the LE? Which also would make the kite more unstable?

I dunno, it is all guesswork for me.

Didn´t read all of it but it sure looks like the Twister Tech from Best kiteboarding.
They have had it in all the Nemesis HP kites for years, and the current Nemesis HP V3.
It makes the kite turs faster, and then generates more lift. It´s actually a very stable kite as well.
I believe some of the reason the kite work so well is the Cuben Fibre material, that you´ll only find in this kite. It a harder material, allowing the diameter of the LE to be smaller (thinner). And the hard material combined with the twisting areas is what makes it so fast.
So it´s good for BIG air ;) (not my favorite but it sure works fine, and very good for what its made for - big air)

yea, now that i look at the date that's what it has to be...I guess it allows you to better understand the technology since I definitely did not before.

Well for me the absolute giveaway is that Alex Shogren is the patent holder. :-)
