you would need a military id card to pull it off. got to get there and need a place to stay. once there it should be great! i know a few really good launches..no people, no boats, some flat and some waves. i would not ask for gitmo orders just for the kitesurfing.

Biking across Cuba years ago I tried to take a picture of the entrance to Gitmo and was warned by a menacing looking Cuban soldier with a very large automatic rifle to be on my way without the photos. I have no idea how you'd even get in there unless you were a guest of the US military.
Cuba's an amazing place, so IMHO, ditch the Gitmo idea and live it up in the real Cuba! I wasn't a kiter then, but looking back I wish I had a kite on Cayo de Coco- it was beautiful wind everyday in mid March.

I am here now. For the next 30 months or so. Not much wind this time of year. Was just wondering if anyone had been here and kited before. I may be the first ever!

you got kites? got permission from the base commander/security/safety? are mac flights still out of norfolk? i can come down
