I am looking for the best drifting big kite for side on light wind down the line wave riding. (Unfortunately for me, my definition of a big kite is a 16 or 18.)
What is the most important factor in a big kite being able to drift in light wind?
weight?, design?, other?

I believe Dimitri uses a infinity v2 or V1 for wave riding in lightwinds. A fat lady would work too.
If you have a chance to test it consider them.
Dont worry i call 14+ kites big too. 14 being semi normal.

Infinity should work well for down the line wave riding. Turns quick for a 15m and a real fun kite to fly.
With that said, really difficult to ride down-the-line(down wind) in light side-on wind(45 degrees or more from wave face)
