I have the Slingshot Joint, they can be a bit tricky to get on, but once on they are on! and they feel great. Loads of control but with the knowledge that if it all goes wrong you can get the board off.
Sometimes in boots you can feel the life being stretched out of you if you land wrong with the kite powered and the board behind you.
I would recomend them for most people. but if you want to ride boots - get boots as these are not a substitue.

Joints are getting traction in the PKRA! Youri Zoon and a couple other Slingshot riders were riding them in the latest kite board world tour!

i am pretty open to this idea. boots were a pain in the ass sometimes in onshore conditions if caught too far downwind trying to squeeze another hit out. I like fact that if you hit real hard the board comes off, don't want to look like robot legs if i can help it. Keen to try them.

Just started trying Joint boots on coldwater conditions, probably would be trying hard to wear them with 3-6mm boots, but with neoprene socks and bare legs they perfect.
Love them from first ride.
