I always thought these 3 kites looked very similar. Has anybody had a chance yet to compare them? What were your thoughts?
Mainly interested in comparisons for unhooked freestyle, big air and wave riding.
Thanks

I'd be interested in hearing comparisons with the OR Razor too since it also appears to be a 3 strut open C with a similar canopy layout.
Thx

subtle pimping mr switch rider, but I would also be interested, you should add RPM to that list.

I can give you a rough comparison between the Element and the RPM. RPM is a bit faster turning with light bar pressure and more oriented to unhooked freestyle. Element is a bit slower (but still has fast pivotal turning) with slightly higher bar pressure but with more low end, and more oriented towards hooked in free ride. Both are good for wave riding, but the Element probably drifts a bit better (which is a tradeoff for unhooked with lines going slack). Both kites are very good all rounders and ultra stable, so probably comes down to personal preference.

Hi,
I have a bandit 5 - 9m and my friend has a 9m element .
I have ridden both, element needs loads of wind or go up a size.
Bandit 5 - 9m I can ride in 15knots on a 6'0. Element I would need 18 or more.
I clearly favor the bandit, but the element is very smooth and constant pull.
Possibly great or begginers, and also less than half the price.
Best thing to do, would be demo them all and you be the judge.

Bandit 5 looks like a nice kite. Is it an Open C? From the pictures I have seen looks more delta shaped. Open C kites have a lower projected area for same flat area from what I know. I dont know if the additional area in the wing tips is what gives Open C kites that ultra stable feel?

what? haha okay you got me. to be fair I'm not REALLY pimping, if I was I might say something like my 9 switch element turns like a 4 and pulls like an 18 and has 1000% depower and negative bar pressure and direct feedback.
I guess I'm just more or less annoyed more people aren't talking/asking about the brand. I feel like its the Ron Paul of kite companies and the media refuses to talk about it.
RPM is a good one to add to the list for sure. I guess the Envy would be good too. I had one and thought it rode kinda similar to my new kites...curious if anybody else thought the same.

According to this thread:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2374743
you already owe a 13m Element.
So it looks the sole purpose of this topic was in fact - pimping. Good luck switchy-boy!!!

He might want to have a comparison grounded in something he knows? I dunno.
Either way, I think the Park and Bandit have completely different DNA. The Bandit stems from a Delta shape, where the outline of the Park comes from a C kite. Bandit have never been looking to be a "light" type kite..though they have improved the kite a lot since I owned one.
You can compare them of course, but not from a perspective of them being similar.
I've never ridden an element.

Switch boy? Nice is that the best you got? Should I come up with a name for you as well? I can think of a few...
I asked a legitimate question. call it whatever you want but before I bought my kites I thought the looked kinda like parks or bandits. I'm still interested in hearing how they compare. thx...
