Or maybe it is? When landing jumps I got a small electric shock... :-? Gave up after a few minutes

Atleast the snowkiting conditions are a lot better!

This is the windless average Norwegian day of fun (sorry no kite, but this deserves a post in KF):

Here's a pic of mine. It looks pretty damn inviting. apart from the 50km from civilization, slight. cross off wind, insane wind shadow off the cliffs, boulders and 30-40 knots of wind and monster swell.

I went out nigel no mates. tacked up to the point and man the swell was heavy. I caught a few waves in and then got slammed. had to body drag for about 15 mins to find my board getting slammed with white wash as the sets rolled in. i found my board heading towards the boulders and cliff. so i had to drag past boulders while getting slammed with white wash and the wind shadow off the cliff was playing havoc with my kite. got the board back and made an exit stage left riding down the line to my launch sight down wind.

i stick closer to my launch sight which is a small sandy beach. but the wind is a vicous gusty 20-40 knots. I catch some waves back and forth for a while and then this monster set roles in. I catch the wave and ride down the face that seems to take a while. I then look back at the wave and almost shit my pants. i yell out" wholy shit thats big" to the birds flying past. It jacks up something fierce and dumps. i high tail it to the beach and call it a day.

pleased i had a session. but it was a bit stupid.
