Has anyone ridden this board?
4'10" thruster, wide tail
It looks like it would be decent in light wind due to the wide tail but still good in breeze cause it's the size of a postage stamp...
In my other boards (6'0" naish global, 6'3" misc. surftech) I feel like I loose low end due to the lack of tail width. I feel like if I put on back pressure to engage fins and edge upwind the tail sinks. Also, the front of the board is almost never in the water. On a big strapless jump the other day i broke a surftech in half under my front foot and continued to ride the back half(missing 2.5 feet of board) for the next hour. Made me think the front half of the board maybe not as necessary as i thought.
Thoughts?
Can I ride this strapless?
Slingshot is selling the globetrotter and the coupe(6'0" twin fin) for $399 including shipping in the online store...good price for one of their fancy WVS boards.
How's their durability?
Thanks...

Great little pocket rocket! Hard to get many reviews since the board wasn't out for that long and not many on the market.. However, the Globetrotter is a really nice board for riders that want to travel or need that little river board/small swell. Pockets very well in small river swell. IE Sherman conditions on a ebb flow. Flat rocker overall, but good nose rocker at the tip for keeping that from subbing.
Durability is great! No egg chipping and handles scratches well. The clear coat on the deck works!
Fits in a Golf Bag.

Just got the board and I'm pretty pleased for $400. Cant wait to ride it. Board looks hot, flat rocker. Seems like a light wind machine. Ill update after we get wind and i can ride.
