I have made boards for years personally
I would remove the glue from the logo’s with WD40 wash the board let it dry spray the board with clear good quality lacquer
Thanks for your advice. Truthfully its no my, so for now i'll just leave it the way it is. I might have to Put something on the bottom, but we'll see.Johnny Rotten wrote:Looks friggin sweet buddy! Good call on gettin a pro to shoot it, way better results than a garage job, hope it didn't cost you too much.
I love the bare carbon look but black boards are a TOTAL bitch to find and I'd hate to see you lose it now. Liked the original white/red theme but would add a bit of red lipstick on the rails ..... looks super tight on cabon If you're not hung up on the NTT green theme. Here's a quick edit of what I was thinking. ......shame the straps aren't red instead of green. Note this is just my style might make you vomit.
Its just automotive clear coat. Just take your board to your local smash repairer and ask him to spray a couple of coats on for you. There is 4 coats on mine, but thats just I wanted a nice think coat to protect the carbon. I reckon it will definitely help with the scratches on the bottom of your sanded board.kinchencool wrote:Whats the spray that you put on called? can it work for fiberglass boards?
