Here it is, after a day of removing stickers, and sanding with 600, 800 and 1200 grit paper, i sent the board to a smash repair company and had 4 coats of clear coat sprayed on it. I love it! im trying to decide if i should try and get some stickers made up for it or leave it in stealth. What do you think?

I have installed a pair of north NTT straps and the board currently has a set of Cabrinha Fins, however i am thinking about changing the fins to North s-bend FS fins so that the green colour matches the green on the straps and gives the board some colour, to be easier to see, if I loose it in the water and it turns upsidedown. Only think with the North fins will be that I have to shave them down a bit as there is a lot of rocker on the base and I will have to drill bigger holes to allow for the bigger screws. Again, and opinions?

Here are some pics.

Looks friggin sweet buddy! Good call on gettin a pro to shoot it, way better results than a garage job, hope it didn't cost you too much.

I love the bare carbon look but black boards are a TOTAL bitch to find and I'd hate to see you lose it now. Liked the original white/red theme but would add a bit of red lipstick on the rails ..... looks super tight on cabon If you're not hung up on the NTT green theme. Here's a quick edit of what I was thinking. ......shame the straps aren't red instead of green. Note this is just my style might make you vomit.

Thanks for your advice. Truthfully its no my, so for now i'll just leave it the way it is. I might have to Put something on the bottom, but we'll see.

Its just automotive clear coat. Just take your board to your local smash repairer and ask him to spray a couple of coats on for you. There is 4 coats on mine, but thats just I wanted a nice think coat to protect the carbon. I reckon it will definitely help with the scratches on the bottom of your sanded board.

Re activating this older post. Great advice to do a great professional job here. I just wanted to get it back to black (RIP Amy). I used black car wax and most of the whitish scuffs don’t show much anymore. Yes with an angle or the deeper ones still show. Where the packer is gone, it is still mat but when I take it out of the bag, it does not look like a $400 board anymore...😀. It’s just fluff...
