Don’t worry there is no anal probing as I know some forum members have a bit of a Freudian fixation with this. It’s a question that has sort of arose via the NY Times thread.
So you are zapped aboard an alien ship and they ask you to pick one person’s videos to explain kitesurfing to them – who do you pick?
Me, for all he can be annoying with his brand pimping, I’d say Dimitri M! He rides all styles in all conditions and is an ‘enthusiastic geek’ (much like myself) when it comes to gear – so take away the brand and he does make a pretty good example of someone who epitomises kitesurfing.

who cares? kitesurfing is everything one wants it to be! You will always have riders who are good in everything, and riders who are better in each separate discipline.
and in space is no wind, kitesurfing won't work there!

Solar winds?

>You are zapped on board
Is it a directional board or a twintip?
But honestly, when I was learning the most helpful were videos from Mikhail Soloveikin ( as in here
http://www.kites.ru/%D1%83%D1%87%D0%B5% ... %B8%D0%BA/ ); he explains in a minute what takes Progression an hour to explain.
I hope those aliens understand Russian. They usually do.

Even that explains it better to some people who actually think it is like having a big diamond shaped kite (with tail)......
"What you pump it up, how is that a kite?"
"You must need strong arms to do that?"
"Is it like windsurfing?"

1 rider? Probably Jesse Richman. He does a little of everything, does it very well, and always pushing it.
