The website shows a strapped-surfboard-style two parallel straps, but in the video there are two seperate front straps for more of a free race board. Interested in a surf/race board like this to ride in light winds when the race board won't work in shallow areas or when there are good waves.

So in order from more raceboard-like to more surf-board like I'm guessing:
Sector 54
North Freerace
Cabrinha Transport
Naish Bullet
SS Kneeswacker

Some one needs to do a comparison test!
Exactly. I think it even comes with three straps (not 100% sure), but the board definitely have inserts for two front straps.. :-)

Oh god, they have the "ride" board now too, so you can get the ride-ride combo or the fly-fly combo. They really need to hire someone to come up with names for their products.

I also noticed the wind range chart for the ride-kite and the park-kite (I'm sure they'll have a park-board next year) don't look anything alike. I assume it's just an error:

ride 10m: 15-28 (believable)
park 10m: 10-20 (does the 2013 10m park really cap out at 20 knots???)

do you know by chance what is the difference in wind range between bolt 6m and park 6m, 2012 models?

sorry no, not exactly, but if other sizes is anything to go by, assume the bolt have a higher high end, feel more comfortable to ride in the high end and about same low end. I have not even been close to the high end of the 6 bolt even in ultra gusty conditions. I've only had the 6 out a few times, it is not that windy over here. :-)

It is the old above the bar trim that they already had on the SLE-Bar in 2007. I had it on my Shockwave and it work OK but nothing you would rave about. I think I would rather like to have a more flexible ATB trim like on the North Bar.

The ATB bar will most definitely be usable on older kites. Naish has had same length on the front and back lines as a standard for forever....

Mike: Personally I prefer the below the bar, and I am sure the above the bar will have a neoprene cover but what exactly is the problem?

I rode the Vegas 2012 week ago.
The 10 is awesome but frankly, the Norths trim is something I definitely do not like.
A small piece of rope hanging around, sometimes difficult to grab and most of all ,when I had to power up the kite the trim had always sliding to full power.
Just then I was able to trim the kite exactly as I want.
On the other hand when the wind became lighter the trim line did stuck and was difficult to pull out the depower.

The kite is very nice though.
