Trainer kite for strong winds?

Does anyone know if there are any trainer kites on the market that can be flewn in stronger wind (7-12 m/s)?
I have an Ozone Imp and one Airush trainer kite, but the lines are weak and they snap easily in strong winds. In fact they only recommend that you use these trainer kites in wind speeds not stronger than 7 m/s.

I have always changed out my small foils with 600lb Q-line, usually use one of the old lines for the brake/safety. I do that because I use the kites in 40+ mph winds in the winter, its a bitch to walk back when its cold and nukin, But on the flip side your more likily to blow the kite out. I've used trainers on the water, just dont put them down.

The Epic Tutor can be flown as a high wind kite on a full size bar (Junior Pro or Extend bar). Just don't use the standard Tutor bar as the lines are not rated for those conditions.

I personally have a Best Guroo 3M that I got for my daughter to start using in the water. I fly it on a 4 line LF bar and have considered trying it with a surfboard if the wind gets to be > 35 knots. The build quality, bridles, pulleys, and reinforcements on this kite all seem up to the task.

The Flysurfer Viron is superb in high wind and not too fast, very resistant, auto relaunch and ultra safe.

i d say the flysurfer viron too, might be a bit expensive, but bomb proof and does the job.

you can't fly it in over 12 m/s? wow, I think that's what I learned with my trainer kite in

I've flown my slingshot b3 in 30-35 knots no problem. well, the kite had no problems, it pulled like a truck though and i got lofted when i thought hot launching it would be a good idea lol

i ride with my Blade Trigger 5m between 30knots to 50/55 knots, so why do you need a kite to ride with more wind? you will not have fun and it´s really dangerous...

The Flysurfer Viron is an excellent trainer kite. Our kite schools use the Viron for two seasons now and absolutely no damage. In stronger winds, we use it to teach everything except board starts. In very strong winds, we use the Viron to teach board starts to very light riders. Its very expensive for a trainer but the quality is top notch.

Question now is which size I should take? What do you recommend for "normal" wind (around 8-12 m/s) The 4.0 m kite?

Putting that line on the kite will make it unusable in 4-5 knots though so it's a trade off of gaining high wind ability while giving up light wind ability.
