Mine get cold and stay cold. If I windmill my arms I can get warmth back but there is not cycling of cold / warm. I go to mitts otherwise there is no way to stay warm sub 5 degrees C.
Not everyone gets that reflex it's genetic. Sux

I have cheap Decathlon 2mm gloves, anold pair and new pair, the old have become thinner, but still grab them as long as possible as you nearly do not feel them.
I Do net get any forearm fatique/cramping, so I am a strong fan of getting a very warm westuit your head covered and once that is as it should be, you can wear thin gloves and thin shoes, just enough to protect you from windchill
