He has his opinions on lightwind kitesurfing and seems to be angry about Dmitri's claim that he went out to chest high to get out when they had their light wind contest. But threatening people with serious violence like that for stating an opinion you dont like is totally unacceptable.
Oh boo-hoo. He has been passive-aggressively devoting his waking hours to bashing D and his products for the better part of at least 8 or 9 months, and openly slandering him for 3 months, so I'm not concerned about his feelings for a couple posts. Let's all get bent out of shape, and let's forget all about the daily abuse heaped upon Dimitri and everyone who has a passing interest in his products by that turd, and let's get all morally self-righteous about my post, shall we?

Serious violence! Oh gosh!

Back to topic that is worst than BS
Answer the question
Why did he go through all this trouble and make a fake video of himself falling in at the Naples demo?

Can one of you EPIC supporter answer just that please !!!!!

By the way today was my 20th day of kitesurfing for this month....zero sesh on TT

3 day on 8m2..1 day on 10m2..8 days on 12m2...2 days on 17m2...6 days on 19m2

The days on 8 &10 were river strong West winds...and the rest in waves

I work for a living 5 days a week...get off by 3 or 4pm....and in the water by 5pm

If Dimitri does not get his LW BS act together he might have to get a "regular" job like most of us

I do not wish that...so in the meantime we point our the errors of his ways...til he finally gets it

So Epic people answer the question why does he make himself fall...when he did not :?: :?: :?:

Happy Easter everyone! :D

For this happy holiday, I will allow myself one session of beating my head against a wall (otherwise known as making any comment on this thread)

Supa, you are a genius. It is so obvious that Dimitri cared so much about this video that he went back to Naples and produced entirely new video segments to support claim that he fell. That was so much easier than it would have been to just make a video showing the segments he edited out from the actual day. His sinister plot would have worked too if not for that meddling Supa and his keen eye seeing that Dimitri has on a dry T-shirt at the end of the video. Now that is some definitive proof. :-?

If it wasn't such a nice religious holiday here, I would say +1 for Flight Times sentiments. I am also going to leave this thread (again) and retreat back to the secret Epic Goon Squad clubhouse. Oldn is making bacon wraps and Dimitri is giving out cigars. Supa, have fun repeating yourself. :bye:

He did it to set a fire under your ass!! Do you not realize that?!?!! You may not realize it but you are his biggest fan! You care more about Dimitri than his own freaking wife does! It's kinda weird man... You really are his big "Bro" aren't you...?

hmmm I have to get going on making these longer Flyrace fins...!

On the kite side, it's just what kite will stay up in the lightest air and have the most power...

Paul

Paul, for your independent comments :congrats:
And I see you're "looking for what's next"? Meanwhile everybody else is arguing here on KF :argue:
I'm working on a 19m single surface high aspect ratio bastardized ram air kite.
The idea came from another user here who is also desperate to kite in lighter winds.
So you don't need to move approximately 11 lbs trapped air like in the 21m,
which is eliminated completely from inside the wing cells. mass on the end of 22m lines
Additionally it is less than 3 lbs and expected to fly in 2 - 3 knots, hopefully NO BS :nono:
So the handling difference, upwind and steering speed will be of the new 19m and a S3-21
the same as between a Formula 1 Race Car and a Truck

You mention a longer Flyrace fin which I think should work also,
since it worked on my windsurf boards in a lighter winds.
So the question for you and other experts who has the experience,
what is the impression with the new combination would it be possible,
to get the threshold down to a 4 - 5 knots kiting range with a lighter rider like you're :?:

Serious violence!!! :o

Don't forget, I will be mixing the drinks later in the clubhouse, while Dimitri goes over the new 1-2 knots while standing in a johnboat video edit.

That Should work just Fine !!
I looked at the #'s for a few brands of Para-Gliders that are single surfaced.
They Still get an OK glide, but there minimum-sink is at a WAY lower speed !!!! :thumb:

Lots of people use the single surfaced PG to climb mountains cause
there so light to back-pack with ; which is Just what the Dr ordered for a
light wind water-kite !!
