Has existed for a while now , 2008 Psycho 4 6m handles that comfortably actually range at margins and perhaps with line length change is 15-45knots.

My 5 meter rrd religion has an official windrange of 22-35 knots. I find the official windrange pretty close to the truth. In fact, I usually switch down to a smaller kite before RRD would...I suggest you take a look at the RRD Religion. Can be had secondhand or priced down pretty easily as well...though that of course depends on where you live.

Keep in mind that low end capabilities of a kite depend also on riders input and on your board...

My Neo 8m goes from 17 or even a bit less all the way to 35 knots at the absolute limit for me with SB. I weight 74kg.

How do you hold on to an 8m neo at 35 knots on a surfboard? That's when I am getting overpowered on the 6m :o

I am very overpowered, true. But just manageable, far from ideal. I do not have a smaller kite for now which explains why I hold on for so long.

Definitely consider Concept Air Wave. Low aspect foil kites drift better than LEIs (I believe there's a KF thread on that topic). I've got only the 4.5 and am thrilled, but exists in 6.6, 8.5 and 12.5. Behaves more like a LEI than any other Ram Air I know. Instant power / depower. Weight: 1 kg! Relaunches quicker than any kite I know; actually almost impossible to maintain it on the water. Fabulous for foiling as well. They've got a single skin as well, the Firefly.

I see that most wave specific kites don't have the great low end (like reo, drift etc)
