Yep its a shame so many brands just copy, and yet still make originality claims.Puetz wrote:... yeah the aspect looks similar but maybe becasue its the 13m!Westozzy wrote:Hey puertz Lks more like the 2011 outline?
Funny thing, you know how most C kites look so similar now across all brands nowadays, race kites are getting similar as each other as time goes on, the new Dyno looks very similar to the Ozone Edge:

... thats what I was getting at too! If every one is aiming for the ultimate kite, logic says that they are all aiming for the same singular point, of course their gunna look similar!!! Anyway, just an observation is all!Billy B. wrote:Copy...that's some strong words, I see lots of teams and company's spending tons of money on race kite r & d.
That's like saying it is a shame all F1 cars look the same, they must all be copys...
I think we have just gotten to were we undersatand what works and all company's are forced to use the same materials. So kites end up similar because we expect similiar features from them.
Having the choice to by a shape you like from different brands seems like a better option then each brand making different shapes. Just to be " different". When winning is the goal.
You'd have to be living in la la land to believe that manufacturers do not copy each others ideas and innovations. COPY is just the single word to best describe that activity accurately. Copying to win is a losers mindset and action.Billy B. wrote:Copy...that's some strong words, I see lots of teams and company's spending tons of money on race kite r & d.
