The festival will take place on Friday 28, Saturday 29 and
Sunday 30 of june 2013 at the Waikiki resort in Pwani
Mchangani, north east coast of Zanzibar.

The Waikiki cup will congregate riders from the island and all
over the world for kiting, party, music events and lots of fun.

As the Zanzibar island is an unexplored kitesurf paradise, the
founder of Waikiki Resorts, Flavio Maglione and the creater of
KiteZanzibar Javier Oliveras got the idea to organize a special
event to promote kitesurfing in the beautiful lagoon of Pwani
Mchangani on Zanzibar.

The extraordinary particularity of this event is the special
judgment rules developed by the organization.

Kiters of low and middle level will have the chance to beat the
best ones. For more information about the rules:

On the program:
Friday the Waikiki Cup starts with the expression session and
the grand opening of the popular friday Waikiki party.

Saturday the day starts with the Race, followed by the Hanging
Time competition.
During all day KiteZanzibar offers free introduction lessons at
the Kite center of Waikiki.

Sunday morning starts with a free yoga session with two yoga
instructors, new and experienced people are welcome.
The freestyle starts around 14h followed by a massive
downwind from the middle of the island until the north. The fun
will be escorted by two rescue boats of One Ocean Diving
Centers. After the arrival the price ceremony will take place,
accompanied with live music and a BBQ party until late night.

Waikiki Resorts raffles free accommodation and breakfast for
the event. Contact us to get the last free places.
