Sorry, just to clarify...is there a way to tell if your chicken loop requires replacement? I have a 6m Unity bought in 2013, but it may have been on the dealer's shelf for a while.
Question 2. Are there major anti-inversion improvements coming? I ask because I just ripped my S3 21m two days ago when it inverted during a transition in gusty wind. This is my one remaining area of concern with my 12m and bigger foils. (Oh, and I may be contacting you for a repair!)

One question that you did not reply yet (asked by Toby) and that I am also very interesting to know the answer is : Do you plan to produce some day a dedicated race kite? Something comparable to an Elf sub zero or Paraavis for example or even a LEI race kite?
Thanks for all the great informations guys

If I want to buy a set of cronix (e.g. 6, 8, 10, 12) - do I have to buy 4 bars? I need max. 2 bars.

Hello Flysurfer,
Will there be a possibility for a FDS-Upgrade for the Speed4 in 8/10? Or will the later Speed4 in smaller sizes be delivered with FDS?
What will be the best 3-Kite Solution on 80 kg with Speed 4? 8 - 12 - 18?
Thank You
Bjrn

15m or 16m maybe?
A high performance high AR kite like the Speed3/4 works better in lightwind. So this is the kite to choose for lighter winds in our portfolio. Therefore we will not add any bigger Cronix sizes.
Hey Flysurfer people.
This is a glorious discussion. More manufacturers should hold question and answer sessions like this.
I feel the need to push back on this answer and state that there are times when a faster turning lower aspect less powerfull lei is better than the slower turning high aspect foil.
Those times are in heavy ocean conditions with big swell, waves and white wash. I have speed 3 15m dlx, and 13m ozone edge for my light wind kites. on the heavy swell days I just cannot get up to speed enough to get the apparent wind power out of the speed 3. I just keep getting my board speed slammed down by the sea conditions. Because of the slow speed of the kit I can't power back up before the next speed killing swell/wave/whitewash. It is easier to be able to work the faster lei in between swells and white wash to retain speed. I have in those instances been able to extract a lower end out of my 13m edge than my 15m speed......
So.... you most definately consider producing larger sized leis. There are definately times when leis provide and advantage.
