Dears,
Thanks GOD, last month it just clicked with me after long time practicing and I can easily go down/up wind.
Looking forward to buy a 2014 SB, If I'm 77 KG and Riding mostly in the Egypt's steady winds at 12 - 19 knots.
Should I go for the 12m or the 10m ?
Regards,

I would suggest that at 12kn a 10M would not be suitable, at 19KN a ten would just be OK.
Suggest a 12M

I'm 83kg and use my 10m SB when the wind gets steady over 15 knots. That's with a wakestyle board and chop. 12m fine below that.

Maybe get an 11m? Might miss a bit on the lighter wind days unless you get a 14m

i agree .. .only 77 KG ... my 10m switchblade was my first kite and was suitable in 15-25 knots ... now i ride an 11m which does the same but with more punch
... as a beginner I don't think you'd want that punch from a 12m.

I am the same weight as you, and I am on my 12 until about 15kts - 16kts. So I agree with dyylan you need a 12 if you want to cover that whole range. I doubt I could fly a 10 below 15kts and have any fun. I have not rode the 11M, but from what I have heard it is more in the range of the 10M but a little more low end. But 12-19kts in some places is not the same as in other. If your saying half the number of days it is below 15 and the other half it is above 15 then I would for sure get the 12 because you will be sitting a lot of days out. If you are saying it starts off in the mornings in the lower end, but ramps up by the end of the day to the 16-19 conditions then I would get the 10 and get out later in the day.

I would also suggest you get the 12m if the wind never goes above 20kn. I've had the 11m 2013 for the past season and it served me well from 14-22kn. Sweet spot is 17-18kn. I'm 70kg.
