Hi, I'm going to be there from October 18 to 25. Hotel Valdevaqueros, booked it through Club Mistral.

As to which kites to take, it is difficult to tell I think: if you have Levante, then any kite could be too big; if Poniente blows, then it's 4-5-6 Bf (that's at least what I remember from when I used to go there to windsurf 10 years ago).

Poniente blows from about 10 to 25 knots, instead Levante is stronger ( up to 35-40 knots). This summer Levante blew only about 15 days.
I was there during the whole August and I used my 18m and 12m,but usually in Autumn wind is a bit stronger. Check this http://www.tarifainfo.com/en/general/weather.php.
A good place to stay? hotel "dos mares" directly on spot ( They kept the red bull contest there), or if you want to stay in town hotel "misiana" could be a good choice.
If you are looking for an apartament go at "alhambra" agency in the main street.
There are many shops and you find every well known kite brand.
Prices? High, like everywhere!
If you have any doubt ask me.

Cheers

As always, you will hear " you should have been here yesterday". Probabnly the week after you left will also be good. Wind will be to weak, to strong or perfect but staight offshore. During the night the wind is always 18 knots side onshore. Enjoy the sunshine and the food !
