Anyone use a Garmin Quatix for kiting. Can you give a review of functionality etc

I had the Garmin Fenix (the Quatix is built off the Fenix platform).

I liked it for time, speed, distance. But the elevation wouldn't always be accurate. I could go from sea level to -14m over a km which doesnt make any sense at all. I used it to pair with my garmin virb. I returned it because I thought the watch was defective and have since ordered a Garmin TacTix as a replacement.
