Keep the videos coming its nice to see videos from the everyday rider like me hehe
exactly!
this is what I meant of course :D :D :D

but on your average session, you don't see that many people
land a simple S Bend and it's a shame because it is very easy

now my 2014 objective is to be horizontal
and to sneak a downloop in it :jump: :jump: yesss
we'll see
Well to get inverted you need lots of power in the kite. A downloop might not be achievable with the slack you should get if your throwing proper S's.

And nothing compares to an S behind boat. Your pop is off a wake giving you mad height and your pull is still pretty low actually lower than you are at the top of the trick. They look the best behind boat.

Nothing done behind a boat is legit, though. It just isn't a real sport. The pain and the difficulty are irrelevant. Lots of things in life are more painful or more difficult than pulling a trick behind a boat. But that's not the point. It just isn't a legit sport if someone else is pulling you around. You must be fully in control of your own destiny. Never going to happen when you're wakeboarding. Nice of them to develop some tricks that we can steal and craft into a real sport though. Tricks are going to be worked out much more quickly in a boring sport than a compelling sport. Take surfing for example. It is so solid and pure that it took guys about a hundred years before they started doing "tricks." They just didn't need them. But wakeboarding was probably around for about a week before guys started trying S-bends and shit. What the hell else are you going to do when you're getting pulled around behind a boat? Shit gets boring real fast. So anyway, thanks again for the tricks, guys.

dont be such a hater gone. wakeboarding is awesome. Only problem is gasoline and boats are expensive, otherwise I would wakeboard any time the wind died.

i am a begginer in kitesurf, love it, pity i can only jump a little.but i used do to competitive water ski, tricks, ramps, barefoot. it sure is not BORING being pulled by a boat, just try to barefoot backwards with your foot on the rope.

in flat water conditions we miss the wake of the boat but see no reason why not aiming the power and amplitude the guys are getting on a cable. but even the best guys seem to be far from it, case in point that vid from cabrinha

never went to a cable tho, so could be jumping into conclusionsout of my arse..

In my eyes, a true sbend is done wih the kite much lower. Look at the video of the wakeboarder.....the kite needs to be as low to the water as possible.

It's a nice video but definitely not an S-bend. It's an unhooked frontroll. With an S-bend, you need a strong raley. After the raley, your body will rotate horizontally. In this video, his body is vertical.

Here's an example:
