Hello

I am wanting buy apartment near kitesurfing or paragliding spot in ukraine. My grandparents from villagers south lviv but i am australian.

I have searched for a few years for something but it appears to get so cold i am unsure if i can be strong enough to handle it. Also issues with crym so more issues.

Where can you recommend i look? Near to odesa was main idea or sevastopol? olenivka?

Might make more sense to just let me know what is most popular kitesurf citys and then i can try find paragliding sites near those and work some things out.

Have you been in Ukraine or live there more period? As Australian i think you will find there very very different mentality of those people. Think twice if it will be acceptable to you. Of course real estate there is ridiculous cheap as for you with Australian salary. But personally i think its very very different world (even from West Europe) despite also different even climate from yours. Sevastopol and Odessa mostly pure russian mentality:) Do you think you will find yourself comfortable there :)?

Kozzie mate,

Any injury and you will think twice why u did this. Our health system is a different planet simply b/c there is who you know. In everything. Sure, money talks but there is always someone with more dough, and than is who they know.

I have a fair share of injuries, even from Japan.

Sure, life is better there. But Only for some. The rest are struggling.

At the end MH17 can happen again.

But hey, cheap RE on Black Sea? Yeah, right. ;)

Bro, don't go to Crimea, it's occupied. Go to Genichesk town,(Arabatska strilka spot) Best months April, May, September, October, November (10m kites, blowing almot every day, need a wetsuit, all directions work), June is decent too. July, August is not that windy but still you can catch some wind for sure. Have fun! Genichesk/Arabatka is a world class spot!

It's Genichesk spot...usually it's crowded a bit,...as in Tarifa for example. ..Later I'm gonna make a post about kiting in Ukraine.
