This is mainly based towards those living in the northern hemisphere where during the winter it's shitty and cold. Something i'd like to do in the future but if it were you where would your ideal destination be taking everything into consideration?

I want sandy beaches, waves and wind - and possibility to do SUP, MTB and paragliding.
Cabarete comes near but a bit more wind would be great
Puerto Rico - is it more windy than Cabarete ?

Suffering the UK winter hey
For me it would be Cabarete (Dominican Republic). I imagine it's quite tricky earning a living there. On the plus side - amazing climate, great food, cheap (ish) flights to London, interesting island, lots of wind and sea sports...
In Europe I would be heading to southern Spain (Andalucia way). Again little work but great life style and not too dark and cold in winter.
Seems lots of decent jobs available in Australia at the moment.

Hawaii is nice but so far away it might as well be the on the moon if you have other hobbies that require a bit of a niche market you won't find it there.
Maybe San Francisco some day. Plenty of wind and near civilization.

This is something where it seems no place has it all; yet alone year round.
In the 48 states; Florida in the Winter, Hood River in the summer, and OBX/SPI in the spring/fall?
How is Maui year round for kiting?
Then places like Brazil and Cape Town seem seasonal.
I can't find one place to stay and kite year round.

Just got back from Maui....this is the off season, but kiteable wind 14 days of 15 (some light days, but could get on the water). Surf/SUP waves of some kind every day. Perfectly warm, never hot, just slightly cool at night.
Paradise.
Only problem, you have to pay to play....not the cheapest place in the world.
No green card senor? Apparently the going rate for a marriage of convenience is $40-60k.

i would need 8 houses and a lear jet
nov/ dec NZ and New Caledonia
jan/ feb march Western Australia
april/ may Pacific - cooks fiji tonga
june/ july august /september Maui & Kauai but fly back for winter swells and wind
October somewhere i am not allowed to mention cos not many people go there and i hope it stays that way
choose one place - soooo hard... too crowded, not enough wind, too much crime, too seasonal, too expensive, too polluted, too cold. where to go? Aussie is pretty cool but so in NZ...
