Probably because those interested in the Flite are out kiting on them and not going back and forth on a forum.

I just ordered my Flite 17. I was heading for the Turbine... But after this review... And some research on the net... I put my 2000 bet on ocean rodeo; a canadian brand of my country. I own 7, 9, 12 m North Evos and was hoping for a North litewind kite... But none of them suited my riding style. My point is that the reason that there's no such of interest on this kite is only due to marketing. Big companies put a lot of money into marketing ( and its a good idea) and us, riders are scared to invest in smaler companies that we dont see in big pages of kite magazines. If the Flite impress me, maybe my next quiver will be the OR Prodigy. Thanks for the time that XL put on these reviews. Go canadian Hockey team go!!!

Yes in 5 mph LW specific kites will fly in the Florida winter on a SW-SSW wind direction just like that
I get the same result with my 19 kite standing on the shore in that type wind..simply amazing

Well done Curt :thumb:
You could have easily rode an SUP :D

That's pretty impressive. I am thinking of getting a North Nugget or similar board to go with my new Flite. Do you think that combo would work @ around 9/10 mph, I weigh 185lbs?

The wave riding around here is pretty scarce so we don't use surf boards but once in a blue moon, but I don't see why not. SupaEZ seems to really like his and he has been light wind riding more than most people.
