thanks for the awesome feedback on the board. If you don't mind me asking what wind range do you ride in and how much do you weigh since you are riding the 138. I was leaning towards the 135 only weighing in at 165.

Have you tried it in the surf at all?

I weigh 160 and ride the 135...great pop, great upwind. If you are going to ride with boots, you might want to consider the 138. Oh, I have the regular XCaliber, not the cabon Alberto model.
Too stiff for these old legs and i think too stiff for the chop in the SF Bay (CA)

So the Pro model (Alberto) with carbon helps offset chop and adds more flex? Non boot rider so I am thinking 135.

This is no true..
the carbon version is more and more reactive board...it's like an elastic...nervus..you put forse and the board give the force back...this is the differnce the reactivity of the board...
The weight also...the carbon version is lighter..
For the size...i'm 73/77kg last year i rode with the 133 this year i take the 138, because has different shape an i would use it also with the binding..
But nowaday if you are invlolved in freestyle the 138 is perfect, for freeride, also with 135 antd 75 is perfect.
The board is not stiff!!! is perfect

have you riddden both boards? i saw both just before they were released and the Alby Pro model was much stiffer. Yesterday, i contacted a friend of mine who has the Alby model and he says it is much stiffer. I have the regular, non carbon 135 XCaliber.

No Steve,
i've just bought the Alby pro Signature model...so i'didn't compare the 2 version...but i said i had 2013 version and the 2014 full carbon version is not much stiffer than 2013..
I'don't like stiff board and this is not stiff...for me...
Best board i have ridden nowaday :thumb:

Hi man!
I tried the board with the bindings!!! Ronix One 2013....of my friend Alby Rondina...
WOW
I belive that this for me will be the new drug!!!
The board with the binding is wonderful and doesn't loose the early planning in light wind.
I went out with the chaos 13 and 14/16 knot.
