Richard Branson is not lame! He is a pretty radical guy, too lazy to go dig up facts on him.

branson is an awesome spokesperson for the kiteboarding community, a self made man, worked hard to get where he is today and could do anything he wanted in the world . . . nuclear powered yatch is not out of his range. but he chooses to do the same sport as we do.

I think that's amazing.

He is also friends with Susi Mai and if that's not good enough for you I don't know what is.

The guy jumps on every bandwagon going ,
Airlines , trains . Cosmetics . credit cards , internet provider , music ( sold out of that)

He is a money making machine !

I worked in BA when all of the disputes were going on , it wasn't pretty. Branson is a one man corporation who like stuff like this to show his human side !

I'm pretty sure there are plenty of regular joe guys (and gals) here who have tried stints like this with friends , but oh look at me I'm Richard Branson and I can pay a load of publicity guys to set up a shoot and get a Guinness record.

He also doesn't like paying uk tax and recently was quoted saying he lived on his private Caribbean Island for health not tax reasons .
He was also a staunch global warming denier until he worked out how to make cash out of it

So I will stick with my original comment . Lame
