Three weeks ago I received my 15m Chrono. We have had lights winds nearly everyday perfect for the Chrono. Last weekend I was disappointed because I had to use my Ozone Edge 11m instead.
This kite is an addiction. It points about 5deg higher than my Edge's and is constantly 2 knots faster upwind according to my GPS watch. Downwind on the race board its insane. It goes so low you feel you are going dead down wind.
Putting the kite into the water is not so much fun. After a few long swims you realise a water relaunch is a much better option and is quite easy. The wind died a few days ago and my Chrono was in the water for about 20 minutes. I was so far from land I resisted rolling up the sail and swimming. When the wind came back I was able to relaunch the kite and sail home.
The best thing I have found is I am less tired after a 2 hr session on my race board. The kite is so efficient and stable it takes less energy to sail. Can't wait for my 12m Chrono to arrive.

Sounds excellent, what are the low end and high end wind ranges you have used it in? And is the depower good?

But I'd like to know more details about it since you were out in light winds:

- For example what is your weight
- What was the average wind
- How low could you go
- What was the wind when finally you could relaunch it

What if you wait to relaunch and the wind doesn't pick up soon enough?
With foils being the kings of the lightest wind and therefore being used close to unrelaunchable winds, I'm surprised we don't hear much about swims in with foils.
Is it a very rare occurrence?

That whole vid is a terrible advert for a foil, the guy should not have been on it, he doesn't understand how it flies.
